What’s so convenient about having my blog hosted by WordPress – I don’t have to worry about updating the software, yet I still get all the new features the moment they’re rolled out. That suits me especially as I don’t update my blog all that often!

Yesterday, I was poking round the WordPress dashboard to see what goodies I could enable when I spotted the domains section; WordPress gives you the option to either register a domain or point an existing domain to their server. For $10, I thought why not?! I registered a new domain with 1&1, set the nameservers and now my blog is located at philwylie.com! Does this make the blogs address any easier to remember? Probably not judging by some peoples spelling of Wylie. But still, the old URLs are redirected.
