I’m in the middle of a two week break, during which time I’m having to cope with a lack of technology! However, armed with my trusty PDA and a WiFi connection I’m able to bring you this update. š
The first three nights were spent at a Travelodge in Berwick upon Tweed, the past two in Durham at a conveniently WiFi enabled hotel. And today, we will be travelling to Kent to stay with my grandparents.

Itās no longer a group event, just me and Nick, unfortunately Tom and Dave had to drop out after being denied time off work. š
I estimate I have Ā£87 of sponsorship money.
Weāll no doubt go to the Apple Store after, upload some snaps and blog the event!
Okay, just to clear this up, I didn’t give any details of the run! It’s 15th July, we are running at Birmingham, at 11.30am.
The question Iām being asked is, why did I choose WordPress.com?
Iām into website design, why not host my own blog software? I thought Iād save the hassle of maintaining another system, by using a hosted service I loose all control over the applications customization which therefore, will prevent me from making ājust another little change here and thereāā¦
Iāve seen my friends blog become a maintenance burden, although he doesnāt admit it! Iāve been helping Nick convert his custom blog software to a āmore accessibleā CSS layout. Oh how Nick loves his accessibility! š
WordPress.com wasnāt my first choice, years ago I created an account with Internet World so I could post an article I wrote at the time. Since then Iāve forgotten my accounts password! So I requested a reset but the system never actually sends out an email, as a last resort, I emailed the webmaster, still no response. I gave up.
WordPress offers me an advert free system, with a clean CSS based interface, that was me sold!
